Our mission at Tanzania Prisoners Hope Foundation (TPHF) centers on compassion and dignity. We bring practical support to those inside correctional facilities and their families. Our team carried out a relief visit to Segerea Prison on September 14, 2026. We supplied hygiene products, nutritional aid, and care items for inmates, nursing mothers, and infants.
Living conditions inside custodial facilities often present challenges in accessing basic personal care products. Through the generosity of our supporters and partners, TPHF successfully provided a targeted donation consisting of hygiene and sanitation essentials together with the nutritional and baby care support.
The donation was formally handed over at the Segerea Remand Prison main entrance, where representatives from the Prisoners Hope Foundation joined officers from the Tanzania Prisons Service. Essential health, nutrition, and hygiene products directly contribute to standard human dignity, physical health, and psychological well-being for incarcerated individuals. TPHF continues to serve as a bridge between the community and those who need hope and practical aid during difficult times.
